NEW YORK, NY -- The men's volleyball team hosted Baruch College on Saturday afternoon at the Doghouse, but dropped the contest, 3-1 (25-18, 22-25, 25-19, 25-19), to the Bearcats. John Jay falls to 7-11 (5-5 CUNYAC) on the year, while Baruch improves to 12-9 (10-0) on the season. 

Junior Carlos Llivicura notched a career-high 11 digs in the match, and also added a service ace and an assist. Freshmen Logan Ramos & Akashdeep Singh had 13 kills each. Sophomore Jack Nugent chipped in seven kills. Sophomore Manuel Peralta collected 32 assists, two service aces, and five digs. 

The Bloodhounds will look to bounce back on Tuesday, March 29 when they will travel to Brooklyn, NY to take on Brooklyn College. First serve is 6 p.m.
