Kamryn Hammond and newly-minted CUNYAC Rookie of the Week, Michaela Lattimore, each registered double-doubles. Hammond finished with a team-high 19 points and grabbed ten rebounds on 7 of 19 shooting from the field. She hit on 5 of 12 from the outside. The graduate guard dished out five assists while adding a block and a steal in her 30 minutes. For Hammond, tonight's performance marked her tenth career double-double and eighth of the season.

Lattimore, who registered her first double-double of her career against CCNY this past weekend, concluded the contest with 15 points on 6 of 11 shooting while matching Hammond with ten caroms in 19 minutes. Natalie Simonds poured in a new career-high, as the Durham, NH native scored 15 points on 6 of 11 from the field. The sophomore guard went 3 of 4 from long range while also adding five rebounds, two steals and an assist in 21 minutes off-the-bench. Ashley Zeolla was the fourth Bloodhound to score in double-figures, as the junior guard netted 11 points. In the early portion of the first quarter, the two teams remained in lockstep with one another, trading baskets until Simonds broke a 6-6 tie with a three-pointer. That bucket ignited an 11-2 run by the home team, as Lattimore capped the run with a layup off the feed from Sarah Granados, that made it 17-8. Abigale Esdaile halted the run with a jumper in the paint as John Jay held a seven-point advantage.

Granados started the scoring in the second quarter for the Bloodhounds, as John Jay sparked a 13-2 run over the next 5:10 in building a 30-12 lead, with Hammond finishing the run with a layup off the pass from Tiffany Bogle
