In total, CUNYAC had seven selections, as CCNY had three honorees (Brandon Paider, Michael Chasanov, and Stephen Suprun) while Baruch had two recipients (Joseph Cocozza and Roy Longarzo).

Anzalone concluded his first season as a Bloodhound ranked among the top ten in hitting, posting a .339 batting average while finishing sixth among all CUNYAC hitters with a .989 OPS, highlighted by a .524 slugging percentage. Over his final four games of the year, the Middle Village, NY native batted a robust .500, going 9 for 18 at the plate with nine RBIs and one prolific home run that capped off the Bloodhounds' incredible run to the CUNYAC championships. With two outs in the bottom of the seventh and John Jay trailing 1-0, Anzalone took the 3-1 pitch from Erik Rank and clubbed a mammoth grand slam over the left centerfield wall, which pushed the Bloodhounds ahead in the clincher against CCNY. John Jay held on for the 5-4 win, securing the program's eighth league title and first since 2007.

Mauro, now a multiple-time All-District recipient, put the final stamp on an impressive season and Bloodhound career. Playing in all 41 games this season, the Yorktown Heights, NY native was among the top-20 in batting this year, hitting .303 for the season. The veteran Bloodhound was finished third in the conference with 44 hits, trailing only teammates Jaxen Gangwish and Quentin Bowman. On the mound, Mauro has the fourth-lowest ERA in the league while finishing third in wins (5). In the clincher for the Bloodhounds, Mauro came on in the top of the eighth for Axel Kappes III. He issued a two-run single to Michael Chasanov before leaving the bases stranded. In the ninth, Chasanov got an RBI single but Mauro struck out the final batter as the Bloodhounds claimed the title.
