Princeton, NJ - The John Jay men's basketball team dropped its exhibition test at Ivy League member, Princeton, 100-59, on Thursday evening at Jadwin Gymnasium.

Three Bloodhounds finished in double-figures, led by Adrian Kopec, who scored 14 points on 5 of 14 shooting while hitting 3 of 9 from the outside in 29 minutes of action. Jamir Stewart and newcomer McIntyre each had ten points.

Princeton also had three players in double-digits, led by CJ Happy, who hit for 17 points on 8 of 13 shooting from the floor in 15 minutes. Malik Abdullahi added 14 points on an efficient 6 of 7 shooting while Dalen Davis had 13 on 4 of 5 from the field.

The Tigers opened the game on a 7-2 run. The Bloodhounds hung tough and got back to within nine, 17-8, following a made layup from McIntyre before the Tigers used an extended first-half run to pull away in the contest.

Princeton shot 50.0 percent from the field and connected on 13 three-pointers while the Bloodhounds finished 33.3 percent from the floor (21 for 63).

John shot 32.3 percent from three-point range and went 7 of 11 from the free-throw line.
