Maria Belov Earns All-Conference Recognition; Jennifer Herrera Vazquez Named To CUNYAC Sportsmanship Team

New York, NY - The City University of New York (CUNY) Athletic Conference announced its women's cross country All-Conference awards and team on Tuesday morning.

With her top-15 finish at the 2025 CUNYAC Cross Country Championships, junior Maria Belov earned All-Conference honors, while teammate, senior Jennifer Herrera Vazquez, was named to the Sportsmanship Team.

Belov turned in her fastest time in a 6K race, crossing the finish line in 12th place with a time of 29:07.4, cutting down nearly four minutes from her 2024 CUNYAC Championship time.

Herrera Vazquez closed out her Bloodhound tenure with a top-25 performance at this year's championships race, clocking in at 30:29.1, shedding a minute off last season's time.

Select members of the Bloodhounds women's cross-country team will gear up to compete in the upcoming ECAC Division III North Cross Country Championships, set for November 8 in Milton, NY, at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome.
