New York, NY - On the eve of the 2025 CUNYAC Men's Soccer Championship, the league office announced its All-Conference awards and teams.
The Bloodhounds garnered three All-CUNYAC selections as newcomer Sekou Sheriff was tabbed to the First Team while teammate Eden Chaftzadi was named to the Second Team. Sophomore goalkeeper Davio Rossilevin was named to the Sportsmanship Team.
Brooklyn College swept the major awards as Nikala Metreveli was named Player of the Year, while teammate Andrew Gavrilov earned Rookie of the Year honors. Head Coach Nathan Bell, in his first season, was tabbed Coach of the Year by his peers.
Sheriff helped the Bloodhounds secure the No. 3 seed in this Year's postseason tournament as the Kakata, Liberia native netted four goals while leading the team with five assists. In the regular season's last five matches, he scored four goals in those five games and notched three assists.
Chaftzadi played in ten matches this season, his first as a Bloodhound, and was second on the team behind
Josh Clemas in goals scored with five, and also added three assists on the season. He was named CUNYAC Player of the Week for the week of October 6.
Rossilevin continues to be a key cog in goal for the men's soccer program. The Sucy-en-Brie, France native played in all 17 matches, allowing just 37 total goals and finishing with a 2.38 GAA. He added three clean sheets on the season, tying the program record of seven
