"I'm really excited to be part of the communications staff and contribute through my passion for photography and video," said Lopez. "I'm grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank Brandon (Fieland), Interim Vice President Daniel Matos, and Brian (Morales) for this opportunity. I love this work and am thankful to be able to do it."

In addition to her role at John Jay, Lopez also helps out at her alma mater, Rutgers University - Newark athletics department, where she films and photographs pre-game and in-game/meet content.
