New York, NY - The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Three members of the John Jay women's basketball team were named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District
® team.
Sophomore
Morgan Kimmi and
Alexis Jones along with senior
Natalie Simonds were named to the CSC Academic All-District Team, with Simonds earning the honor for the third time in her career while Jones and Kimmi each earn his first accolade from the organization.
With the trio being named to the Academic All-District Team, John Jay has a total of 15 student-athletes named to the CSC Academic All-District Team thus far this fall, as they join:

- Davio Rossilvein, Men's Soccer
- Sofia Astarbi, Women's Soccer
- Lilith Eaton, Women's Soccer
- Daniela Vazquez, Women's Soccer
John Jay, Baruch (Lola Idir, Isabella Kostyal-Larrier, and D'Andre McRae), and Hunter (Kennedy DeRuy, Makkedah Murray, and Wanhua Peng) each had three student-athletes named to the Academic All-District team. Brooklyn (Sheily Quezada and Anna Kitch), and Lehman (Emily Kennedy and Heaven Figueroa) each had two recipients.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 15 (women).
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
