Men's Tennis Comes Up Short Against Brooklyn College

Box Score The men's tennis team came up short against Brooklyn College, 5-4, on Thursday afternoon in Brooklyn, NY. The Bloodhounds fall to 0-2 on the season. The Bulldogs picked up their first win to improve to 1-1. 

John Jay fell behind 2-1 after doubles play. The duo of sophomore Greg Gon and senior Kelvin Rodriguez picked up a victory at number two, 9-7. 

In singles, junior Richard Mills defeated Brooklyn's #2 in a back-and-forth match, 7-5, 7-5. Gon won at number three, 6-1, 6-0 and Rodriguez was victorious in the fourth slot, 6-1, 6-1. 

The Bloodhounds travel to Farmingdale College on Tuesday, March 24, for a non-conference match at 4:30 p.m.
