David Reynoso Tabbed To CUNYAC Men's Tennis Sportsmanship Team

New York, NY - Sophomore David Reynoso of the men's tennis team was selected to the 2026 CUNYAC Men's Tennis Sportsmanship Team, the conference announced on Wednesday morning.
 



Juan Mendoza of Baruch was named Player of the Year for the second straight season. Brooklyn's Giorgi Zhamutashvili was voted as the league's Rookie of the Year, while Baruch's head coach Greg Wyzykowski was voted Coach of the Year for the third straight season. York senior Firdaus Abdulai was named the recipient of the Sportsmanship Award.

The Bronx, NY native Reynoso began his first season with the Bloodhounds, appearing in six matches and playing at No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 singles. He earned his first collegiate win of the season back on April 22 against York's Lawrence Louis, 6-0; 6-3.

Back on April 14, paired with Ian Hartigan, the duo earned a 6-3 doubles victory over Lehman's Jacob Cooper and Andres Gil.
