Men's Tennis Records First Win of Season; Defeats Albertus Magnus 6-3

Box Score The men's tennis team collected its first win of the season after defeating Albertus Magnus, 6-3. The Bloodhounds improve to 1-5 on the year. The Falcons drop to 1-3 overall. 

John Jay took two of three doubles matches. The duo of sophomore Oleh Mir and freshman Mauricio Ramos won at number two, 8-1. In the third spot, the tandem of sophomore Andres Cadavid and freshman James White came out on top, 8-1. 

In singles play, Mir defeated the Falcons' number one player, 10-1. Cadavid quickly defeated his opponent at number five, 10-0. At three, freshman Michael Berkagan came out victorious with a 10-3 victory. The final win came in the last singles spot when White won, 10-4. 

The Bloodhounds host Baruch College on Tuesday, April 4, at 4:00 pm at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY.
