Bethlehem, PA - The John Jay women's cross country team raced at the 50th Annual Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh University at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course.
In the Women's College Green Race, the Bloodhounds finished 31st out of 32 teams. In all, three Bloodhounds set new personal-best in the 6K run.
Skylah Nix and
Heavenly Evangelista were the top finishers for the Bloodhounds in the race, as Nix finished with a time of 28:51.8 while Evangelista turned in a time of 28:53.6. Amanda Posada also turned in a new personal-best, finishing the event in 30:54.2.
Other notable performances include
Jennifer Herrera, who clocked in at 33:14.5.
Julia Murray was next at 34:48.7 while
Eva Garcia posted a time of 37:50.0
The Bloodhounds will be back on the course on Saturday, October 12 as they will compete at the NJIT Highlander Invitational.
The race commences at 12:15 p.m. from Branch Brook Park.
