New York, NY - College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2025 Academic All-District
® women's volleyball team, with two members of the back-to-back CUNYAC Women's Volleyball champions earning a spot.
Hailey Waugaman and
Alex Overkamp earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-District Team, with both being honored for the first time in their Bloodhound careers.
With the duo being named to the Academic All-District Team, John Jay has a total of 10 student-athletes named to the CSC Academic All-District Team thus far this fall as they join:
- Alejandro De Jesus, Men's Soccer
- Ian Hartigan, Men's Soccer
- Karl Menuau, Men's Soccer
- Charlie Metz, Men's Soccer
- Davio Rossilevin, Men's Soccer
- Sofia Astarbi, Women's Soccer
- Lillith Eaton, Women's Soccer
- Daniela Vazquez, Women's Soccer
The Bloodhounds and Brooklyn College led CUNYAC with two recipients as the Bulldogs had Ruti Joshi and
Malia Reyes named to the team. Baruch's Karolina Lundquist, CCNY's Ivanna Zamora Sanchez, and Medgar Evers' Martiza Argueta rounded out the selections from the conference.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Jan. 13, 2026.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
