Men's Tennis Drops Home Opener Against Baruch

Flushing, NY - The John Jay men's tennis program opened their home portion of their schedule on Tuesday evening, falling to the Baruch College Bearcats, 9-0.

The Bloodhounds fall to 0-5 on the season and 0-2 in league play. The Bearcats improve to 6-1 and 1-0 in conference play.

Baruch took the doubles matches by an 8-0 count in taking a 3-0 lead in the match.

Daniel Rosa dropped a 6-1 decision at No. 3 singles after Samir Ghimire and Vladimir Ruzanov each fell in straight sets.

Davio Rossi-Levin fell 6-1; 6-1 at No. 4 before the Bearcats secured 8-0 winners at No. 5 and No. 6.


The Bloodhounds will head to Annandale-on-Hudson, NY, to tangle with Bard on Thursday, April 3, at 3:00 pm.
