Kendal Bryant Named To All-ECAC Softball Team

Danbury, CT - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2025 Division III All-ECAC Team and major award winners.

John Jay's Kendal Bryant was named to the All-ECAC Team. She is one of 14 players named to the team.
 




Alfred University's Jessica Remm won Player of the Year. Cheyenne Piper of Westminster College was named Pitcher of the Year
while Madison DeMaio of Farmingdale State was the Rookie of the Year. The 2025 ECAC Coach of the Year was Lacey Lord of Salisbury University, as she garnered her second straight award. 

Bryant finished her first season at John Jay leading the team in several offensive categories including: batting average (.479), slugging percentage (.821), on-base percentage (.556), hits (56), on-base plus slugging (1.377), home runs (10), and walks (24).

Bryant and the Bloodhounds finished 30-11 this season, claiming the program's third straight CUNYAC Championship and first undefeated regular season title, finishing the conference slate at 10-0.

The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-five-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast. The ECAC also hosts a comprehensive esports program that presently involves 160 schools fielding 1100 teams across 14 different esports games, streamed live four nights a week. The ECAC's esports platform has and continues to expand the geographic footprint of the Conference nationally.
