New York, NY - John Jay senior JB Zhao was tabbed Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference (MAC Rifle) Smallbore Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday afternoon. 

This marks Zhao's first weekly honor and is the fifth Bloodhound to be recognized with a weekly award this season, joining Mahek Dalwala (October 27, Air Rifle), Maria Belov (December 7, Air Rifle), Allana Dan (January 25, Air Rifle), and Danny Canning (December 7, Smallbore). 

Zhao fired a score of 539 against Rhode Island back on February 14.

Zhao and the Bloodhounds are gearing up for the NCAA Qualifier this weekend at the United States Naval Academy as they will also compete in a postal match against Schreiner.
