New York, NY - The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Two members of the John Jay men's basketball team were named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District
® team. Senior wing
Adrian Kopec and junior
Ronnie McIntyre were named to the CSC Academic All-District Team, with Kopec earning the honor for the third time in his career while McIntyre earns his first accolade from the organization.
With the duo being named to the Academic All-District Team, John Jay has a total of 12 student-athletes named to the CSC Academic All-District Team thus far this fall, as they join:

- Sofia Astarbi, Women's Soccer
- Lilith Eaton, Women's Soccer
- Daniela Vazquez, Women's Soccer
Baruch College led CUNYAC with three recipients (Jack Gordon, Nicholas Lam, and Peter Douvres). Brooklyn (Herbert Gary), Lehman (Kesean Tracey), and Medgar Evers (Treyonne Tcha)each had one student-athlete named to the Academic All-District team to represent the conference.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 14 (men).
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
