Eric Sorensen was a four-year veteran of the baseball program from 1996-99. The catcher finished his illustrious career with a .418 average with 163 hits, 104 runs, 58 doubles, eight home runs, and 106 RBIs. In his senior season. Sorensen led all of NCAA DIII in doubles and doubles per game. He is the program's all-time leader in doubles and is third in average, fifth in total bases, and seventh in RBIs. He earned many accolades during his tenure including CUNYAC, Knickerbocker, and ECAC Player of the Year as well as John Jay College Athlete of the Year.
