Sean Gargin was part of the baseball program from 1983-86. During his four-year career, the pitcher logged 236.1 innings and tallied 223 strikeouts with 17 wins and a 3.96 ERA. He was a member of four CUNY Championships and one ECAC Championship team. After striking out 82 batters in 75.1 innings in his final campaign, he became the second Bloodhound in program history to be drafted when the New York Yankees selected him in 1987. He is tied for third in program history in wins and fourth in strikeouts.
