The women's swimming team fell to the College of Staten Island, 57-36, on Friday evening at the John Jay Pool. The Bloodhounds drop to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Dolphins improve to 2-4 overall and 1-1 in CUNYAC.
In event two, sophomore
Alyssa DeVito placed first in the 1000-yard freestyle relay in a time of 13:27.46. The Massapequa, NY native followed that up with a first place finish in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 6:36.80.
Teammate
Kaylie Bruce also recorded two first-place finishes for the Bloodhounds. The junior swam the 200-yard freestyle in 2:27.50 and the 100-yard backstroke in 1:12.61.
Freshman standout
Bokey Wong placed first in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:27.26.
The Bloodhounds host the Baruch Bearcats on Thursday, December 11, at 6pm at the John Jay Pool.
