Bronx, NY - The John Jay College of Criminal Justice women's swimming team earned a 116-75 road win at Lehman on Thursday night at the 2026 Super Sprint Meet at the Apex Aquatic Center.

John Jay opened the meet in the 100-yard medley relay, as the quartet of Grace Driver, Aydan Damirova, Salem Williams, and Brianna Torres touched the wall first in 1:03.83 to set the tone early.

In the women's 50-yard freestyle, Victoria Hapsis captured first place with a time of 27.93, followed closely by Torres in 28.97. Damirova added a fourth-place finish at 29.31, while Driver (32.73), Julia Murray (33.17), Guiliana Atencio (34.32), and Williams (35.71). 

Damirova followed with another win in the 100-yard individual medley, clocking in at 1:10.30. Hapsis placed second in 1:11.27, while Torres (1:19.33), Williams (1:25.69), Driver (1:25.96), and Atencio (1:34.14).  

Hapsis added a victory in the 50-yard backstroke, winning in 35.28. Williams finished fourth in 40.37, with Murray touching in 42.44. John Jay swept the top three positions in the 50-yard breaststroke. Damirova won in 35.80, Torres followed in 40.99, and Driver placed third with a time of 46.91. 

In the 25-yard butterfly, Murray led the Bloodhounds with a third-place finish in 17.36. Williams (17.66) and Driver (17.87) followed closely behind.

Driver earned a first-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle, winning the event in 1:11.74. Murray placed second at 1:15.74, and Atencio finished third in 1:18.01.

Damirova earned another individual victory in the 50-yard butterfly, touching first in 33.25. Hapsis followed in second at 35.43, while Murray (41.01) and Atencio (44.86) completed the event for John Jay.

The Bloodhounds closed the women's individual events with strong relay performances. In the 100-yard freestyle relay, Hapsis, Murray, Atencio, and Damirova combined for a first-place finish in 56.13.

John Jay also showcased depth in the mixed events late in the meet. Williams won the mixed 100-yard backstroke in 1:31.16, while Hapsis captured the mixed 100-yard breaststroke in 1:31.75.

Murray and Atencio finished first and second, respectively, in the mixed 200-yard freestyle, posting times of 2:50.59 and 2:56.25. Driver closed the meet with a victory in the mixed 200-yard backstroke, touching in 2:55.44.

The Bloodhounds will next be in the pool for the three-day Metropolitan Swimming & Diving Championships, held at Rutgers University, on Friday, February 13, through Sunday, February 15.
