Chrisman Leads Women's Swimming to Split at Tri-Meet

MEET RESULTS

The women's swimming team went 1-1 in a tri-meet on Saturday afternoon in New Rochelle, NY. The Bloodhounds defeated the College of New Rochelle, 108-57, and fell to Notre Dame of Maryland, 82-78. John Jay is now 2-1 on the year. 

Heather Chrisman led the Bloodhounds with two first-place individual finishes. The freshman swam the 200-yard freestyle in 2:08.90 and the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:13.07. 

In the 50-yard freestyle, sophomore Bokey Wong finished first with a time of 28.67. The Bloodhounds' other first place finish was recorded by freshman Lin Wei Ma in the 100-yard backstroke (1:17.96). 

In the final event of the day, 200-yard freestyle relay, John Jay recorded a victory with a time of 2:04.84. 

The Bloodhounds host Hunter College on Tuesday, November 17, at 6:00 pm at the John Jay Pool.
