Women's Swimming Picks up Third Win of Season

The women's swim team defeated the College of New Rochelle, 48-28, on Wednesday evening at the John Jay Pool. The Bloodhounds improve to 3-6 on the season. The Blue Angels drop to 1-9 overall. 

John Jay took the first event when senior Kaylie Bruce, freshman Heather Chrisman, freshman Lin Wei Ma, and senior Andrea Antoni finished the 200-yard medley relay in 2:16.38. 

Chrisman collected two first-place individual finishes in the 100-yard freestyle (57.95) and the 500-yard freestyle (6:07.01). Lin Wei Ma picked up a pair of first-place finishes when she swam the 200-yard freestyle in 2:36.89 and the 100-yard butterfly in 1:23.19. Bruce finished in first in the 100-yard IM (1:18.42) and 100-yard backstroke (1:30.96). Antoni registered a first-place finish when she swam the 50-yard freestyle in 32.38. 

The Bloodhounds travel to Baruch College on Friday, January 22, for a conference meet at 6:00 pm.
