The women's swim team lost to the College of Staten Island, 146-49, on Tuesday evening in Staten Island, NY. The Bloodhounds fall to 0-2 on the season. The Dolphins improve to 1-0.
In the 200-yard freestyle,
Mavis Ma placed second with a time of 2:29.90. Two events later in the fifth event, junior
Bokey Wong raced to a second place finish in the 200-yard IM in 2:42.20. In the 100-yard butterfly, junior
Diana Rodriguez picked up a second place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:26.14.
John Jay's first and only first-place finish came in the 100-yard breaststroke when Wong finished in 1:24.30.
The Bloodhounds travel to Brooklyn College on Friday, November 11, for a conference meet at 6:00 pm.
