Cross Country Announces 2023 Schedule

New York, NY - The John Jay College cross country teams will race in six competitions during the 2023 season, Bloodhound first-year head coach Jose Miranda announced today.  The Bloodhounds will open their schedule on September 1 before heading into the championship season at the end of October. 
 

 
John Jay will commence the 2023 season at the Panthers XC Invite, hosted by Adelphi University on September 1 at Bethpage Polo at the Park). The Bloodhounds will then head to Purchase, NY on September 9 for the Purchase College Invitational. 

On September 16, John Jay will compete at the Jasper Fall XC Invite, hosted by Division I members, Manhattan College, in Montgomery, NY at Twin Ponds on the Farm. The month of September closes for the Bloodhounds at the 15th Annual Mount Saint Mary College (MSMC) Knight Invite on September 24 at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome in Milton, NY. 

October begins for John Jay as they will race in the Queensborough Community College Invitational, which is contested at the historic Van Cortlandt Park on October 1. The final regular-season meet is slated for October 14 as the Bloodhounds will trek to Kings Park, NY to compete in the St. Joseph's University - Long Island Invitational at Sunken Meadow State Park. 

The championship season opens on October 29 as the Bloodhounds will return to Van Cortlandt Park for the 2023 CUNYAC Cross Country Championships. The women's race is set for 9:30 a.m. while the men will follow at 10:30 a.m.  A week later, those individuals who qualify will race in the ECAC Division III Cross Country Championship on Saturday, November 4, at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome in Milton, NY. 

The 2023 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships is slated for November 18 in Carlisle, PA at Big Spring High School.
