Wayne, NJ - The John Jay women's swim team collected five first-place finishes, with Miranda Perez taking two top finishes, but the William Paterson University Pioneers held off the Bloodhounds, 101-81.

Perez touched the wall first in the 50y Freestyle with a time of 25.81, setting a new season-best in the event. She nearly set a new personal best in the 100y Breaststroke, finishing at 1:14.97, a mere .47 off her best time this season.

Grace Driver and
Julia Murray collected 13 points for the visitors, with Driver taking first in the 500y Freestyle at 7:29.18. Murray clocked in at 7:46.78. Driver added a third-place finish in the 1000y Freestyle with a time of 14:46.37, while Murray finished at 15:54.13.

Victoria Hapsis took second in the 200y Freestyle, setting a season-best time of 2:20.11.
Luciana Uriarte also trimmed time off her previous showing, finishing third in the 200y IM at 2:46.91.

Katherine Sacgalindo helped John Jay take 13 points in the 100y Backstroke as Glenn posted a finals time of 1:25.41 while Sacgalindo turned in her best time in the event this season at 1:39.94, which surpassed her previous best of 1:42.87 at the Ramapo Tri-Meet.

of 2024 with a conference meet at the John Jay Pool as they will swim against Baruch at 6:00 p.m.
