New York, NY – Following a successful shooting weekend against Maritime and University of Rhode Island on Sunday, Danny Canning and Maria Belov earned MAC Rifle Conference Smallbore and Air Rifle Athletes of the Week.

Canning, in her final season at the College, fired a score of 551 against the Privateers and the Rams. She boasts a 549.25 average and has fired a 551 in three of four matches this season, making Canning one of the most consistent smallbore athletes in the MAC.

Belov fired a career best of 566 on Sunday to be recognized as air rifle Athlete of the Week, helping the Bloodhounds win the air rifle portion of their match. Belov currently ranks in the conference's top-20 of the discipline.
