Wayne, NJ – The John Jay women's swim team dropped its non-conference meet at William Paterson on Tuesday evening, falling 125-64 to the Pioneers.
Aydan Damirova took first-place in the 50y Breaststroke, turning in a personal best time of time of 34.89. She also took second in the 100y IM with a time of 1:12.61.
The 200y Medley relay team, comprised of
Victoria Hapsis, Damirova,
Luciana Uriarte and
Kira Englenton, posted a time of 2:17.08.
Grace Driver finished second with a time of 14:46.01 while
Julia Murray touched the wall in 15:30.62 in the 1000Y Free.
Victoria Hapsis posted a season-best time of 2:17.86 in the 200Y Free.
Nutsa Prangishvili and Giuliana Atencio turned in personal-best times in the 50Y Free, with Prangishvili clocking in at 32.53 while Atencio finished in 35.12.
Hapsis took second in the 50Y Backstroke with a season-best time of 33.38 while Englenton and Sepulveda notched personal-bests, posting times of 42.47 and 45.87.
Uriarte took second in the 50Y Free, posting a personal-best time of 33.49. Prangishvili took fourth, also turning in her best time in the event at 35.65.
In the 100Y Free, Atencio secured a second-place finish with a time of 1:21.31 while Sepulveda notched a personal-best time of 1:36.22.
The 200Y Free Relay team of Driver, Murray, Atencio and Prangishvili posted a time of 2:14.20 in the event.
The Bloodhounds will swim against Baruch on Thursday, December 11 at 6:00 p.m from the John Jay Pool.
