New York, NY - The John Jay College cross country program has released its 2025 schedule, head coach Jose Miranda announced.

The Bloodhounds open the season on September 6 at the Purchase College Invitational, which will provide an initial look at both the men's and women's teams in their first action of the fall.

The month of September concludes with the Bloodhounds racing at the Queensborough Community College Invitational on September 28 at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. The last time John Jay competed in this meet was in 2023, when both squads placed in the top ten, finishing seventh overall.

John Jay's final meet of the regular season is set for October 11 as they will compete at the NJIT XC Invitational at Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ.

The 2025 CUNYAC Cross Country Championship is set for Sunday, October 26, at Van Cortlandt Park. The women's squad looks to build upon their recent successes, having placed second in back-to-back championship races.

At the end of last year's meet, three Bloodhounds earned All-Star honors while Coach Miranda was tabbed Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year. On the men's side, they had two harriers place among the top-14 en route to All-Star recognition.
