Piscataway, NJ - The John Jay women's swim team concluded their first-ever appearance at the Metropolitan Collegiate Championships, contested at Rutgers University.

The Bloodhounds finished sixth overall with 511 points. Roberts Wesleyan University won with a three-day total of 1,039. Baruch was next at 995, followed by Gordon College Swim Team at 958.

Sarah Lawrence was fourth at 789, followed by Mount Saint Mary College at 696. Brooklyn College (7th - 410), followed by Hunter College (8th - 395) and Maritime (9th - 77).

Miranda Perez concluded her stellar season by bringing home her second silver medal of the three-day competition as the Bronx, NY native turned in a time of 55.98 in the 100y Freestyle.
