New York, NY - The 2025 Academic All-District Men's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
John Jay men's volleyball sophomore
Attila Nerette was one of five men's volleyball players selected to the All-District Team to represent CUNYAC.
Nerette joins Baruch's Peter Gavroff, Ryan Oommen, and Noah Pak along with York's Stanley Sanchez.
With today's announcement, Nerette becomes John Jay's 30th student-athlete to receive recognition from CSC, joining fellow Bloodhounds:

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-America® honors, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.50 grade-point average, be a sophomore, junior, or senior and be a starter or significant reserve.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on and July 9.
